TUC offers online information courses, workshops, classes and other educational programs relating to the world of finance to you for a fee (“Course(s)”) through its TUC Academy services. For clarity, the TUC Academy is included as part of the Services offered by TUC. TUC may also offer you the ability to engage in communication with fellow users taking the Courses. This Terms and Conditions, including this section specifically on TUC Academy, govern your purchase, use and/or access to any Course. You must login to your account to sign up for a Course. TUC may use third party services to provide the platform for the Courses, to provide access to Capital Markets, as well as for payment processing and those third parties may have access to your information for the purposes of providing the Course Services.
Accounts
To use the Website (the “Service”), you will need to both register and create a user profile or account (“Account”).
You may not share or transfer any Account. You understand and agree that you shall be liable for all activities that occur under any Account created for your use, even if such activities were not committed by you. TUC is not responsible for any loss or damage arising from your failure to maintain the confidentiality of your password. You understand and agree that you have no ownership rights in your Account and TUC may stop offering the Service at any time. Further, TUC may cancel your Account and delete all information associated with your Account at any time, without notice, for violation of these Terms. TUC will not be liable for any damages or loss resulting from cancellation of your Account.
You may cancel your Account at any time and cancellation will take effect immediately. TUC reserves the right to temporarily or permanently restrict or block access to the Website and/or the Service to any users who have had their Accounts cancelled.
Upon registration and/or during the processing of transferring Credits into the User Account, you are required to provide the following information:
- An alias that will be the username.
- A password.
- Your email address.
- Your phone number for receiving customer support.
The information provided must be true, accurate, current and complete, as requested. If TUC suspects that you are registering a User Account with purposely incorrect information, TUC reserves the right to terminate Your User Account. TUC also reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to change and/or suspend/terminate offensive and/or inappropriate usernames.
